Today, our fearless leader, Wesley Donehue, is being inducted into the inaugural class of Campaigns and Elections’ CampaignTech Innovator Awards, presented by New Media Strategies in Washington, DC. There are 10 Innovator Award recipients, from areas such as technology, campaigns, advocacy and government, who have shown exceptional innovation in their work.
Wesley is being honored as a Republican Innovator, due to his online political consulting operations. In his work, he has taken his years of campaign experience and translated them into innovative campaign solutions for today’s digital world. Wesley currently handles the online presence for the South Carolina Senate Republican Caucus, and boasts numerous clients from the SC state legislature. He even hosts a successful weekly Internet show called Pub Politics, which is also broadcasted on a local television news station.
Most notably, Wesley has been an innovator in providing cost-sensitive solutions to lower-tier candidates and non-profits by launching Win With WordPress in 2010, which provides low-cost professional websites. The following year, Wesley founded Fundraiser7, which is an event ticketing application built on the Piryx platform. The website he developed for the South Carolina Republican Party was named best website by the Southern Republican Leadership Conference, and last year he was named a Rising Star by Campaigns and Elections.
We are truly proud of Wesley’s tremendous achievement in winning this respected award. We know that many such awards are forthcoming in the near future, as Donehue Direct continues to burgeon its new media and web development empire.

So you know that Donehue Direct is one of the largest political Internet firms in the country, but did you also know that we build corporate websites as well?
The McKay Law Firm wanted a web presence that conveyed their unique charm and powerful attorney resources. So we developed a website that simply displayed their services, news posts, social media feeds and attorney information. Their homepage features a large image slider and a post feed that pulls from their news category. A Twitter feed is also in the sidebar, which provides all the latest news and updates.
On the attorney page, each attorney’s contact information is displayed, along with an excerpt from his or her biography information. Site visitors can email each attorney directly, or contact the associated paralegal first.
Developing corporate sites such as this is always fun for us. We get to stretch our creative muscles and think of new ways to convey brands to a much different audience. This is the second law firm website be have built and we look forward to doing much more. If you would like us to get creative with your web presence please click here to contact us and stroll through our portfolio.
